Cullen A. Tonry
Licensed in Louisiana since 2004, Cullen brings more than two decades of courtroom experience to his representation of injured people and their families.
Education and courtroom experience
Cullen graduated from Southern University Law Center in 2004 and has practiced law since that year. His experience includes matters in Louisiana state and federal trial courts, state and federal appellate courts, and the Louisiana Supreme Court.
A career rooted in St. Bernard Parish
Before concentrating primarily on personal injury law, Cullen served as both a private criminal-defense attorney and a public defender for St. Bernard Parish. That work gave him extensive courtroom experience and a practical understanding of how legal problems affect local families.
A tradition of Louisiana advocacy
Cullen spent ten years practicing with his father, Richard A. “Rick” Tonry—a former United States Representative and prominent Louisiana trial lawyer—and attorney Mike Ginart before opening his own firm. That experience helped shape his direct, prepared, and client-focused approach to advocacy.
Focused on personal injury
Today, Cullen's practice is focused primarily on representing people injured in car crashes, 18-wheeler and commercial-vehicle accidents, and other serious incidents. He works directly with clients to investigate the claim, preserve evidence, document medical and financial losses, and pursue a fair recovery.
Local counsel with direct access
Cullen practices from the firm's office on Pakenham Drive in Chalmette and serves clients in St. Bernard Parish, Greater New Orleans, and throughout Louisiana. Clients receive clear explanations and direct access to the attorney responsible for their case.
